Technical requirements for connection

For planning, set-up, and operation of and changes to customer installations (transformer stations and generation facilities) on the 110 kV high-voltage network in Berlin, the technical requirements for the connection to the high-voltage network (VDE-AR-N 4120*) as well as the supplementary Berlin-specific technical requirements for connection to the high-voltage network in Berlin, apply.

Those requesting a network connection according to the Ordinance on the Connection of Power Plants to the Network (KraftNAV) shall also use the basis of our requirements for connecting to the high-voltage network in Berlin.

Since 1 January 2015, the VDE-AR-N 4120 has replaced the Transmission Code 2007 as well as the VDN guideline "Renewable Energy Power Plants on the High-voltage Network" (EEG-Anlagen am Hoch- und Höchstspannungsnetz) for 110 kV network connections.

Information of the VDE on the topic of high voltage connection

Since May 2016, the "Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/631 of 14 April 2016 establishing a network code on requirements for grid connection of Generators" has applied. At present, this is being transposed into national law by the relevant bodies, such as the VDE-FNN, and we expect an amendment to the technical connection regulations (TAR).1

Price sheet reactive energy

When withdrawal electrical energy, a displacement factor (cos Phi) between 0.9 inductive and 1 must always be observed. If this is not the case, no reactive work is calculated according to the following price sheets.
