We light up the capital

On behalf of the Senate Department for the Environment, Transport and Climate Protection, we operate the approximately 220,000 public electric and gas-powered street lights in the State of Berlin.

Our responsibilities include planning and coordinating maintenance work, repairing malfunctions and damage, switching the state's lighting systems on and off, and advising the State of Berlin on all economic and technical issues relating to street lighting.

Our services:

• Planning and installing lighting systems and technical project consulting from design to approval and implementation
• Independent, tailored advice on lighting systems and suitability tests
• Operational management of lighting systems, including servicing, repairing malfunctions and securing replacement parts
