Electricity grid renovation in Berlin's Bohnsdorf district

Starting in the fourth quarter of 2017 and lasting until the third quarter of 2019, fundamental renovation work will be taking place on the low-voltage grid in Berlin's Bohnsdorf district. Not only will this reduce the risk of power outages affecting customers in the Bohnsdorf area, it will also increase the grid's transmission performance, allowing it to cope smoothly with the increasing expansion of decentralised energy producers and growing electromobility.

Unfortunately, interruptions of the power supply of around two to three hours as a result of switching from the old to the new cabling are unavoidable. Affected end customers will be informed in good time – at least three working days in advance – by public notices. We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
