Stromnetz Berlin: new website online from today

From today, Berlin's distribution system operator Stromnetz Berlin GmbH will have a new web address, www.stromnetz.berlin.

From today, Berlin's distribution system operator Stromnetz Berlin GmbH will have a new web address, www.stromnetz.berlin.

The thematic navigation structure takes visitors to information about the company and Berlin's energy grid, as well as topics of relevance to grid customers. Thanks to some development on the technological side, the website will be available on PCs and laptops, as before, but it can now be accessed on the move with a smartphone or tablet, as well. The website will be shown in the appropriate format for the chosen device. Another new feature is the multitude of information now available in English as well as German, making it accessible to a wider user group.

In four (blue) sections, customers can find compact and comprehensive information on connecting, feeding in, grid usage and meters. This allows visitors to the website to find the information that they're looking for quickly, e.g. on a house connection, on remuneration for electricity generated from renewable sources or on how to enter their meter reading. In addition to the navigation structure, the main pages can be reached via shortcuts on the homepage.

Significant data on the company and information on the Berlin grid operator's local engagement is collated in three (grey) company sections. Disruption management, construction work and information on technology and innovation can be found in the "Technology & innovation" section.

In redesigning the content and topics, Stromnetz Berlin involved its Customer Advisory Board and took into account feedback from customers and business partners. The company will also respond to external feedback in future, to adapt its information services to the requirements of Berlin's residents as well as possible.
