South-west Berlin Power will gradually be restored for everyone in the coming hours

Starting from 11 a.m., Stromnetz Berlin will gradually be restoring the power supply to everyone in south-west Berlin. This has been made possible by completion of a temporary power line on the Teltow Canal. Over the last few hours, this line has now successfully passed the mandatory operational audit.

However, before the power can be restored to everyone, some of the customers in the area originally affected and who have already had their power restored are going to experience a power interruption lasting for around 15 minutes. Switchovers will be taking place during this time. Similar to plugging a connector into a different socket, these switchovers ensure the resupply via the temporary line on the Teltow Canal.

Please take all precautions for before your power supply is restored.

• Disconnect sensitive devices from the mains.
• Check whether you have switched off all necessary devices.
• Disconnect private generators from your domestic installation!

Stromnetz Berlin is also working on the construction of a second temporary power line in Argentinische Allee. We are also making great progress with the construction and assembly work here. As of today, we expect to be able to report success here, with more good news to follow after the end of the weekend.
