Tender for reactive power

In accordance with Section 12h of the Energy Industry Act (Energiewirtschaftsgesetz - EnWG) in conjunction with Decision BK6-23-072 of the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA), we are conducting procurement for the non-frequency-bound system service ‘voltage regulation services’ (‘reactive power’) in a transparent, non-discriminatory procedure.

We have identified a demand totalling 135 MVar of voltage-reducing power for our high-voltage grid.

The tender is aimed at all system operators that are connected to our high-voltage grid or whose connection is planned. Operators of these systems can offer reactive power that exceeds the requirements of the currently valid ‘Technical requirements for connection to the Berlin high-voltage grid (status 2024)’ for a fee.
