Working student
As a working student during your degree, you have the opportunity to gather practical experience at Stromnetz Berlin and put the knowledge gained during your studies into practice.
As a working student you will take on project work and support a team in our of our departments. Right from the start you will have the opportunity to take responsibility and bring your own ideas to the table.
You can spend time as a working student in termtime or in the holidays. The maximum working hours during termtime are 20 hours/week, with a maximum of 37 hours/week in the holidays. Contracts can last for a maximum of two years.
Bachelor students receive 14 Euros per hour, Master students receive 15 Euros per hour. The total monthly remuneration depends on the actual work performed.
The duration of your assignment is for a maximum of two years.

Exclusive insights for female engineers of the future
Once a year we organize for prospective female engineers of study programs electrical engineering, energy engineering, renewable energies or industrial engineering an exciting event, with presentations and workshops. Our managers and engineers from different specialist departments will be there to talk to you about technological challenges and potential assignments that would suit you personally. Our human resources experts will also be happy to advise you on a one-to-one basis about entry-level and career opportunities at Stromnetz Berlin.
